The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that the persons authorized by the certifier have met the certifier's standards for experience, expertise, and competency necessary to provide design, set up, management and administration services for retirement plans, and have agreed to adhere to the certifier's standards for professional responsibility, continuing education and post-certification requirements, and will provide the services in accordance with the standards developed by the certifier and subject to the certifier's approval.
