The certification mark, as used by persons approved by the certifier, certifies the individual displaying the mark has met the certifier's requirements for functional vision assessment and vision habilitation/rehabilitation of persons with impaired vision, and that as such, each of such persons (1) has met the specific standards of personnel preparation in education and experience established by the certifier, (2) has passed a standardized national examination prepared and reviewed by the certifier, and (3) has been approved by the certifier's Board of Directors. The mark has become distinctive of the goods/services through the Applicant's substantially exclusive and continuous use in commerce for at least the five years immediately before the date of this statement.
