Description of Mark
The mark consists of The logo consists of a circle with a roughly scalloped edge filled in by a field of periwinkle blue. In the center of the circular periwinkle blue field, taking up most of the space is a picture of the continent of Africa in lavender. Forming a semicircle around the inside edge of the top half of the circle it says "seal of authenticity" in white capital letters. Forming a semicircle around the inside edge of the bottom half of the circle it says "fair treatment for artists" in white capital letters. On either side of the circle inside the edge between the two semicircular phrases are light green dots. Together the two semicircular phrases separated by the light green dots form a full circle set in along the inside edge of the periwinkle field. There are four curved bright yellow lines of different lengths randomly spaced inside the circle formed by the words and dots. The lines give the suggestion of another circle within a circle. The longest of the curved yellow lines is underneath the words "seal of" and the "au" of authenticity running across the western and northern parts of the African continent pictured. Another small line is under the "t" of authenticity which falls about where the Suez canal would be on the continent pictured. There is another line inside the light green dot on the right side of the circle that runs across the horn of the African continent pictured. The fourth line runs across the South African cape just above the "nt" in the word "treatment", and the word "for". Overlaying the entire center of the lavender Africa is a translucent green square of color. The letter "SAAFair" in the same bright yellow as the curved lines are staggered across the center of the entire circle of color so that the top of the "S" is on top of where the Ivory Coast would be on a map, and the bottom of the "S" is on top of the periwinkle field, where the Atlantic ocean would be on a real map. Staggered low next to the "S", the first "A" also falls on the periwinkle field. Staggered high next to that, the left leg of the second "A" is also on the periwinkle, with the point hitting at about where Nigeria and Cameroon would be on a map. The right side of the "A" crosses into the light green square field. Staggered slightly lower, the word "Fair" is then centered in the light green square field.
