The mark consists of a semi-oval white background with a slight amount of purple outside of the top and bottom portions of the oval, with the stylized wording "NAKANO UMESHU" in the color black placed near the top center and with "UMESHU" appearing on a flower-like design in light pink with five rounded edges and the stylized non-Latin characters in smaller font in the color black which translates to mean "Nakano Plum wine" and transliterates to "Nakano Umeshu" appearing to the right of the flower design, with stylized non-Latin characters appearing vertically in smaller font in the color purple on the left side of the mark which translates to mean "Made from Kishunanko plum" and transliterates to "Kishu Nankoubai shiyou", with stylized non-Latin characters in larger black font appearing from the center to the bottom portion of the mark which translates to mean "Nakano Plum wine" and transliterates to "Nakano Umeshu", with a design of grapes appearing in the colors green and with pink shading and on brown sticks, and with two light pink flower-like designs appearing on the bottom left and middle right portions.
