The mark consists of shaded circle with lighter shading on the top and darker shading on the bottom with the stylized uppercase letters of "C" and "L" cut out of the circle and stylized uppercase letters of "U" and "B" with lighter shading on the top and darker shading on the bottom of each letter next to the circle. Next to the letter "B" is a stylized uppercase letter "S" in solid black color with a lowercase "o" in solid shade which has a shaded line above it. The stylized uppercase letters "H, O, and T" are next to the lowercase "o" with the same lighter shading on the top and darker shading on the bottom as the letters "U" and "B". The words "TANNING COMPANY" are in solid shade uppercase letters beneath the letters "U", "B", "S", "o", "H", "O", and "T".
