The mark consist of a shield and a red maple leaf with the term "DAWES" in the color white appearing twice vertically side by side in inverse positions in the black inner part of the shield; the inner shield is outlined in white with two vertical extensions of different sizes on both sides of the shield; the shorter extension is colored silver and outlined in black lines extending from the top portion of the black inner shield to the middle of the inner shield; the longer extension extends from the top portion of the inner shield to the letters "d" and "s" located near the bottom of the inner shield, it is colored red and outlined in white and silver; a red maple leaf outlined in white, black and silver appears at the top of the shield where the silver outline extends around the outer perimeter of the entire mark.
