The mark consists of a bronze colored five tip star in an old west style badge with a circle surrounding the outside of the five tips of the star, the name JAKSON is in black letters centered in the outside circle at the top of the badge and the word COUNTY in black letters centered in the bottom of the outside circle, a black hole in the center of the large star with grey material appearing bent out from the center to give the appearance of an exit wound from a bullit exiting the front of the badge from the rear, black shading in the blank space around the center star and the inner part of the outer circle, two black five tip stars , each just below the point of contact of the left and right tips of the center star an the outer circle, white appearing in the center of the badge across most of the top part of the body and the center portion, as if light were shining down over a metal badge.
