Description of Mark
The mark consists of a dark blue circle with a yellow border. Within the dark blue circle there is a large letter "U", also the color yellow. The left side of the "U" is wider than the right side. On both the left and right side of the letter "U" are red stars with white borders. Within the large yellow "U" there is an emblem in the shape of the state of Texas shaded in light green with a dark green border. The left side of the emblem of Texas overlaps on top of the left side of the "U". There is also a red star towards the bottom of the emblem of Texas. Above the yellow letter "U" and emblem of Texas there is a yellow sun. Within the dark blue circle, there is a light blue design running parallel on the right and left sides of the letter "U". There is also a light blue design (different in shape) below and in between the letter "U". Across the top of the dark blue circle from left to right appears the phrase "United Independent School District" in red letters. Below the dark blue circle are red cut out shapes of children standing next to each other with hands joined and the phrase "FOR CHILDREN" underneath in red letters.
