(1.) The applicant seeks registration of the mark in the United States, excluding the geographic area defined by the city of Longview, Texas. (2.) Applicant intends to use the mark for bowling tournaments and other entertainment and sports related activities. (3.) The applicant specifically acknowledges Junior Achievement of East Texas as a concurrent user in Longview, Texas for bowl-a-thon marketing and promotion. (4.) Applicant is aware of previous use of the mark by Junior Achievement of East Texas located at 911 NW Loop 281, Suite 307, Longview, Texas 75604. Applicant is not aware of any registrations issued to Junior Achievement of East Texas or any applications for registration of this mark by the same. Junior Achievement of East Texas does not appear to claim any intellectual property rights to the mark, either registered or unregistered, and no longer appears to be using the mark in commerce. The mark appears to have been used for a limited time and in a limited capacity by Junior Achievement of East Texas for purposes of promoting a fundraiser bowl-a-thon. Junior Achievement of East Texas appears to be using a different mark to promote the fundraising bowl-a-thon this year.
