The AAHIVS mark is an abbreviation of the applicant's AAHIVM HIV Specialist certification and credential. The certification mark, as used by persons authorized by the certifier in advertising and informational materials, certifies that these persons, who are providers of HIV/AIDS related medical treatment and services, meet the certifier's standards of experience, education, and knowledge in said field, in accordance with the requirements as established by the certifier. A copy of the certifier's eligibility standards is submitted with this application.
