The certification mark, as used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies that these persons, who are performing the services identified above, have demonstrated satisfactory, advanced professional knowledge in the field of arboriculture, including: proper plant and tree identification and care; planting, maintaining, and treating plants and trees; electric utility pruning; vegetation management; electrical knowledge; customer relations; and emergency management, in accordance with requirements established by the certifier, including the: completion of the necessary professional occupational requirements; successful completion of a knowledge-based written examination; and, completion of the required continuing education units for recertification.
