The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that the authorized persons are candle manufacturers, that have pledged to: 1. Promote the manufacture of candles and candle products in accordance with recognized industry standards and practices; 2. Pursue product excellence through quality formulations, testing and prudent manufacturing processes; 3. Foster technical advances and innovation in candlemaking; 4. Uphold consumer confidence through a commitment to product quality and corporate responsibility; and 5. Foster and safeguard a fair and responsible marketplace.
