providing an array of volunteer services to the public at large, namely, organizing and conducting blood drives, providing services for the elderly in the nature of visiting nursing homes, conducting various holiday parties, reading to the elderly, providing companionship and giving non-monetary gifts, organizing and conducting literacy programs, mentoring youths, providing food, shelter and medical assistance, and day care services; and promoting the public awareness of the need for volunteerism
