The certification mark, as will be used by authorized persons, certifies that the person displaying said mark has completed educational course work requirements and/or work experience requirements of the applicant, has completed examinations in a satisfactory manner which are administered by the applicant, has agreed to adhere to the applicant's standards for professional responsibility, continuing education and other post-certification requirements, and is competent in the field of financial planning. An authorized person must hold all state insurance or securities licenses as required by applicable state and federal law and regulations to practice in the field of financial planning.
