Description of Mark
The mark consists of a shield shape with two scalloped edges on top culminating in a point over the center. A slightly smaller but otherwise identical shield shape is contained completely within the first shield. The smaller shield is comprised of two halves. The left half is a portion of an American flag oriented such that a portion of the field of stars is visible on the left side of the shield and the stripes of the flag are travelling downwards. The right half of the smaller shield is a portion of a Confederate flag oriented such that a bar is travelling from the top right corner of the shield to the center and a second bar is travelling from the bottom right region to the center. Imposed over the center of the shield is a white banner containing the literal element "GETTYSGEAR". Beneath the banner, near the bottom of the shield, the literal element "1863" is imposed over the shield.
