GOBag is an emergency medication storage and transportation kit containing unique, matching ID tags for both the user and kit, allowing the kit and its contents to be readily identified with the user in stressful or chaotic situations and allowing the user to easily and quickly evacuate home, office, sports facility, care facility or other location taking needed medications and supplements with them. GOBag keeps non-refrigerated medication and supplements ready to "grab and go". Specifically, GOBag is intended to store and transport non-refrigerated medication and supplements while providing a low-tech, always-working, non-electronic ID system so that stored medication, supplements and medical information can be positively identified with the kit's user in any situation. The unique thing about the GOBag kit is its non-electronic ID system that is specifically designed to be clearly understandable by anyone regardless of language and to function without batteries or technology in situations where the user may be confused or unconscious. The GOBag kit is comprised of an insulated bag with large handles and a zippered lid with a see-through external ID pocket, an accessory side pocket with positive closure for medical forms and information, a set of three ID tags, a wrist coil, a pill container, a medical information list and instructions for kit use. Each kit has its own unique ID number carried by all three ID tags: (1) the main ID tag pre-inserted in the ID pocket on the bag, (2) the wrist coil ID ready for the user to put on and (3) an auxiliary tag for use as the kit user determines. One of the main issues with medication carriers is that there is no positive identification connecting the medication with the user. The GOBag is a kit that addresses that shortcoming by supplying a method for carrying and positively identifying non-refrigerated medication and supplements with the kit user. The GOBag kit is designed to function both in an emergency and during daily activities since it requires no technology. A set of three plastic pre-printed ID tags carry the same indentifying combination of numbers and letters allowing the kit and user to be matched at a glance. The ID strings can be matched regardless of language. The tags are indelible so they can provide identification even in extreme weather conditions. The GOBag comes with the main ID tag pre-inserted in the external see-through ID pocket on the lid of the kit's bag. The GOBag main ID on the kit lid contains the wording "Medical information list in side pocket" under the ID string. The wording is in English at the present time, but can be modified to appear in other/dual languages as needed. The second GOBag ID comes pre-attached to the kit wrist coil, ready for the user to put on. The wrist coil is soft and expands comfortably to a size of 14 inches so that it will fit any body type. The third and auxiliary GOBag ID is provided with a pre-punched hole and can be attached where the user chooses - on a keychain for instance. The GOBag kit contains a starter pill box, but the kit bag is designed to be large enough to hold most pill containers or medication dispensers so that the user may carry their own. The GOBag kit contains a copyrighted medical information list, to be carried in the accessory pocket, that supplies first responders or other necessary personnel with information on medications and supplements placed in the kit. The top of the medication list has a prominent field where the bag ID is entered so that the kit bag, its contents and its user can be identified with the medical information on the list by the kit ID string on the main ID tag and the user's tags. The specially designed medical information list allows the kit user or a caregiver to enter personal information, contact information, medication/supplement type, medication identifying color or brand, dosage, timing of ingestion or injection and allergy, doctor and pharmacy information. The accessory pocket of the kit where the medication list is carried is also intended to hold copies of prescriptions and/or insurance cards if desired.
