The mark consists of the words "Vet" and "Grade" in the center of the design, with the words together without a space between them. The letters "V" and "G" are capitalized and all the other letters are lower case. "Vet" and "Grade" are darkly shaded to the same extent. Immediately to the left of the "V" is a shaded circle with an unshaded check mark extending completely across the circle. The inside of the circle, except for the check mark, is shaded lighter above the check mark, and darker beneath it. There is a thin line of shading under the circle. Immediately to the right of the "e" of "Grade" is an image of the upper part of a smiling female veterinarian with dark hair and a stethoscope in a light lab coat with her left arm around the shoulders of a light and dark dog, and with her right arm extended forwardly with the right hand in the "thumbs up" position.
