The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify a real estate professional's services in assisting others in the listing, selling, exchanging, buying, renting, managing or negotiating of any interest in real estate for an identified geographical region. Authorized real estate professionals have provided proof of having been licensed in the geographic region for which certification is sought for a minimum of five years, have not had any state enforcement actions within the two years preceding certification, have not had any ethics complaints or actions within the two years preceding certification, do not have any unresolved complaints with the Better Business Bureau as of the date of certification, have had a minimum of 25 transactions close or greater than $5 million in gross sales in the particular geographic region for which certification is sought within the calendar year preceding certification and have demonstrated community involvement within the particular geographic region for which certification is sought.
