The word "SHAKA" translates into english as a friendly Hawaiian hand gesture with middle fingers curled under and thumb and pinky extended outward, resembling the American sign language gesture for the letter "Y", used to express "aloha" or greeting, and also used by surfers to express "take it easy" or "hang loose".
